A business case competition is a competition that helps gain and strengthen the skills essential for youth as they enter the world of business. At STRIVE, we aim to develop these important skills, such as critical thinking and public speaking, that are needed to guarantee success in your future careers. Our mission is to engage youth in the business world through workshops, panels of industry professionals, and case competitions. Whether you are interested in accounting, marketing, finance, or business in general, our conference has an array of activities for everyone. We recognize that each individual is unique and have different interests. That is why we incorporate the whole package and you can get a taste of all that business can offer at STRIVE.
A laptop, a charger for your laptop, something to take notes with, water to stay hydrated, proper attire, presentation clicker (optional), and the proper A/V adapters (most Sauder classrooms use VGA and HDMI for display input).
Attendees should show up to STRIVE in Business Formal attire. Business Casual is permitted but not recommended.
Any incomplete teams or individual attendees will be paired together by the STRIVE Executive Team before the conference, so having a complete team is not a requirement for participation.
